The Greek Traditional Music Ensemble aims to bring students in direct contact with the repertoire of Greek tradition through folk songs. It consists of both a choir and an orchestra which is usually accompanied by the following instruments: kanun, oud, darbuka, lute, clarinet, recorder, tambourine.
The ensemble has participated in many school events and has been awarded the first prize in 2008 at the Panhellenic Student Artistic Competitions of the Ministry of Education. From time to time in the past, the director of the ensemble was Associate Professor Vasilios Kasouras.
