Approximately one month after the impressive concert “Wandering Echoes” by the Choir of the Music School of Thessaloniki at the Philharmonic Hall of the city of Skopje, the great success was repeated at the Ceremonial Hall of the Old Faculty of Philosophy of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
The concert was an initiative of Education Consultant Antonis Konstantinidis and was realized through the collaboration of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Eastern Thessaloniki, the School Director Ms. Zoi Vazoura, the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
The talented female students and alumnae of the school, members of the Choir, under the direction of Angeliki Krisila and accompanied by pianist Sofia Zoumi, once again captivated the audience in a venue imbued with a strong sense of education and culture. Their rich program of Greek and international repertoire highlighted their high artistic level.
Distinguished members of the political, academic, and educational community of Thessaloniki, the Director of the Music School of Thessaloniki, teachers, parents, students, and university students attended the event and shared in the choral experience.
The audience welcomed the concert enthusiastically, listened attentively, participated actively, and warmly applauded all the musical works performed with mastery and notable stage presence by the choir, under the guidance of the conductor–educator and the school’s pianist. Outreach—this fundamental characteristic of the Music School of Thessaloniki—supported by the talent of its students and the dedication of its teachers, builds bridges of communication across all levels of education and serves as a channel for the exchange of good practices within the framework of meaningful, holistic education.
