The Music School of Thessaloniki honours Holocaust Remembrance Day with a special event dedicated to preserving historical memory and promoting the values of human dignity, peace, and democracy.
The event will take place at the “Theopisti Oslianitou” Theatre of the school on Monday, 26 January 2026, at 10:30 a.m.
This year, for the first time, students will present an original theatrical–musical adaptation of Primo Levi’s emblematic work If This Is a Man. The adaptation was created specifically for the event and seeks to convey on stage the author’s profound testimony of his experience in the concentration camps, through speech, music, and movement.
The event is addressed to the school community and the wider public, with the aim of reminding everyone that memory is the foundation for a world of justice and respect.
