The 1st Panhellenic Artificial Intelligence (AI) Competition was successfully completed, an initiative that highlighted the potential and creativity of the country’s students in the rapidly developing field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
90 students from all over Greece qualified for the final phase of the competition, called “Pandora”. Among them were the students of the A’ Lyceum the Thessaloniki Music School Apostolidis Charalampos and Deligeorgis Theocharis.
The high level of participation, the high level of skills and the creative work of the students highlight the need for a substantial and experiential integration of AI in the educational process as a tool for the development of innovation and thinking. 25% of them were distinguished for their high performance. Our student, Apostolidis Charalampos who participated in the final phase of the competition, which was held in Athens, at the facilities of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University, won a place in the top 25% of the participants. Throughout the preparation and participation in the phases of the competition, the students had the guidance and full support of our school’s IT teachers., I. Georgoudas και G. Tsioumperi. The administration and the teachers’ association of the Music School of Thessaloniki would like to congratulate the two students for their success and wish them to continue with the same consistency, creativity and enthusiasm, and to achieve their goals and even more distinctions in the future.
